-Cares about what he is teaching
-Wants everyone to do well
-Multiple choice tests
Cons: -Soft spoken (sit up front)
-Lectures off the top of his head
-Most tests questions directly from lecture
To do well in his class you need to show up and take notes or get to know someone who takes good notes. Nearly all test questions come from his lecture; more specifically many of the questions come from the diagrams and figures he discusses in class. Dr. Wolfe is a great professor. If you want to do well show up for class and take notes and ask questions.
-One midterm test
-A couple easy quizzes over previous lab
Cons: -Sometimes tedious
-Most of the lab is spent looking through a microscope
It is not a difficult lab. You know what you have to do. He gives you time to complete most of the work in lab, if you don't mess around. The midterm is not too hard because he basically tells you what to study. He is a very generous grader, especially with classwork. Lab reports where on species richness and diversity and another report based on bird watching.
tells stories
easy tests
Cons: study study study
love this man, easy lecture,- just review material after classes and study for tests...
Cons: Talks very quiet, so try and sit near the front.
He LOVES birds, and knows every type of bird their is.
